Chassagne Farm is pleased to host an exciting new workshop! Guests will have a unique opportunity to learn a great deal about Birds of Prey and Falconry in this one day experience.
Facilitators are Carole Precious and Sandra Davey, two falconers who are currently training a falcon together and who have been flying birds professionally for many years. We are thrilled to share our passion and understanding of raptors. The morning session will be educational with an overview of global bird handling traditions, a lesson on bird biology, a study of equipment used, advances and changes in the sport, and we'll answer all of your questions. Included is a luncheon featuring some foods produced at Chassagne. In the afternoon, participants will have the opportunity to see raptors up close and personal, to hold them and to have them fly to their fists. Photography is encouraged. Wear comfortable outdoor clothing. Limited spaces available.
