CHASSAGNE FARM PRESENTS
Enjoy a day long retreat at Chassagne, a lovely working farm located south of Guelph, home to the original flock of Shetland Sheep for North America, with renowned Instructor Cheryl Roberts, owner of Fullin’ Woolens, assisted by Catherine Stark, organizer, Woodstock Fleece Festival. These women have been selected because they are talented, experienced spinners who share a passion for natural fibres and enjoy the endlessly fascinating pursuits of being creative with fibre.
This programme is designed for the Beginner Spinner. Drop spindling is an excellent way to learn about drafting and how twist turns fibre into yarn. It is a portable and an inexpensive way to start working with fibre and it provides students with a way to continue spinning beyond the class. Participants will go home with their own drop spindle, 2 oz of Shetland rovings, instruction sheets, and a smile... guaranteed!
