Belvedere (pronounced bell-va-dare) means The Look Out in French. It certainly is an appropriate name for the Drive Shed. This board and batten structure was built by Detailed Farm Buildings Ltd. (www.detailedbuildings.com) during the freezing winter of 2006 . It is perched atop the highest point of land at Chassagne, and from it one can see beautiful farmland and forests in every direction. The Heron weathervane is almost always in motion as the breezes and winds of Puslinch buffet this hilltop perch. Turkey vultures fly by at eye level and while standing on the loft balcony one can enjoy the peaceful views of Shetland sheep and horses grazing below.
